Terms & Conditions

Warranty

Manufacturers’ warranties begin when the merchandise is delivered by Longstreet Living, the delivering agent, or customer picks the merchandise up at the location. Manufacturer warranties are provided by the manufacturer and are normally limited to flaws in the materials or craftsmanship.  Longstreet Living will not be responsible for any special, indirect, or significant damages.

Acceptance and Inspection

All furniture and accessories are to be inspected by the customer at the time of delivery before signing for merchandise. Any damage to furniture, missing items, packaging damage, or any other problem must be noted in writing on the delivery paperwork. Longstreet Living is not responsible for any damage, replacement parts or repairs if customer signs for an item and discovers damages later. Once Longstreet Living has a signed delivery receipt, the customer accepts that the merchandise is “as-is,” and they will be responsible for replacement and repair costs, including shipping.  If the customer discovers damage in merchandise within 48 hours of delivery, it is their responsibility to notify Longstreet Living at (517) 278-4487.  Pictures that clearly show the damage must be emailed to contact@longstreetliving.com.  Any damage reported after this time will be considered a warranty issue and the customer will be responsible for replacement/repair costs incurred.

Damaged merchandise

While we carefully inspect each item prior to delivery, we do understand that there are the occasional damages that arise.  Longstreet Living has sole discretion whether to repair or replace merchandise. If we cannot repair the merchandise, then a replacement piece will be ordered.  Any damaged pieces become the property of Longstreet Living.

No Cash Back

Longstreet Living strives to make every customer 100% satisfied with their purchase.  In the rare case you feel you need to return your merchandise, contact Longstreet Living at (517) 278-4487.

Layaway

Delivery fees and sales tax, if applicable, are included in your layaway payments. When you put an item on layaway, we ask for a minimum of 20% down after which you can make payments on a schedule that is most convenient for you. There is no limit on the number of payments nor is there a minimum payment amount.  Customer layaways are not subject to cancellation. Customer agrees to complete payment on schedule or proceeds of prior payment(s) towards all merchandise may be forfeited.

Returns

Longstreet Living does not accept returns unless merchandise is damaged at the time of delivery. We will determine whether to repair or replace merchandise. A replacement piece will be ordered if repair is not possible.

Order Cancellations

Special orders are not subject to cancellation.  Longstreet Living is financially responsible to the manufacturer for merchandise ordered on your behalf and therefore we cannot accept order cancellations.  If we feel a cancellation is appropriate, a minimum 20% cancellation/restocking fee will be assessed as well as any freight charges incurred.

Sales Tax

Longstreet Living collects the 6% sales tax for the State of Michigan. Responsibility falls on the customer to understand and remit sales tax in accordance with the laws of their home state.

Pricing Errors and Omissions

Though we try to make every effort to ensure the accuracy of our website, there may be the occasional error. Longstreet Living reserves the right to correct any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies and revoke any stated offer including orders that have already been confirmed via email, phone, or verbally in the store.  If Longstreet Living discovers a pricing error after the customer’s credit card has been charged, we will refund the entire order without penalty.  Please note that prices and availability are subject to change without notice.
